About Chick-Fil-A Community Scholars Program

  • Through the Chick-fil-A™ Community Scholars program, Chick-fil-A, Inc. helps pay for the education of leaders in our communities who want to continue learning, while also investing in their leadership development.

    Every year, at least thirteen $25,000 scholarships are awarded to students based on academic success, community service and financial need. The Chick-fil-A Community Scholars also participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program, a one-year engagement that includes mentoring and leadership development alongside our Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Scholars. Through this program, we recognize remarkable individuals who share our dedication to caring for others and caring for their communities. 

    To apply to become a 2026 Chick-fil-A Community Scholar, you must:

    • Currently reside in the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada at the time of the application and award.
    • Be a high school senior and are planning to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the 2026-27 academic year.
    • Be involved in community service, extracurricular activities and/or leadership role in the twelve (12) months prior to the application deadline (for example, volunteering for non-profits, helping others less fortunate, tutoring/mentoring, etc). 
    • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). 
    • Be willing to participate in Chick-fil-A's Scholars Program (a one-year experience of mentoring, activities, and professional development), if selected.
    • Not be employed at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant or Chick-fil-A, Inc. at the time of application or the dependent or spouse of a Chick-fil-A, Inc. Employee or Operator.
