Kristan Amber Alvarez, born and raised in San Marcos, TX, is a proud Rattler Alum, Class of 2008. Kristan and her mother Della Lucio Cisneros, opened KnD’s Boutique in downtown San Marcos in 2012. Kristan being the “K” and her mother Della being the “D” are looking forward to celebrating their upcoming 12th anniversary. In 2019 the mother and daughter team duo won Downtown Business of the Year – an award voted for by members of the San Marcos community. KnD’s has been named Best Boutique in Hays County for 2021,2022 & 2023.

In addition to being open for business for 12 years, Kristan, a young female entrepreneur, most recently celebrated becoming the proud owner of her downtown property by purchasing the building where KnD’s Boutique is located. A successful decade of business has opened many opportunities including being an official Texas State University licensed collegiate apparel shop. Not to mention KnD’s has become the downtown Head Quarters to get all your San Marcos Rattler gear for game day! Rattler Pride!
