To be considered for a Bluebonnet scholarship, the applicant must:

• Be a senior of a high school or an accredited Home Extended Studies program who is graduating in the 2025-26 school year.

• Reside in the home of a parent or legal guardian who is a current Bluebonnet member with an active account and whose primary residence is within the outer boundaries of Bluebonnet’s service area.

• Provide a copy of current high school transcript with high school grade point average (GPA) through the latest semester completed.  

• Submit a completed 2026 Bluebonnet Scholarship of Excellence application, which is available at bluebonnet.coop. The application must be submitted online by 5 p.m. March 6, 2026. 

This scholarship has its own specific application process.
