About the Worthy Goal Scholarship

  • IFSEA Worthy Goal Scholarships are typically awarded in the amounts between $500 to $2500 on an annual basis to students enrolled in an accredited food service/hospitality, or other related degree, at an institution of higher education.  The scholarship may be used for the purpose of paying tuition and other mandatory fees related to pursuing an accredited degree in Food Service or Hospitality Management. This scholarship is open to students enrolled or accepted as full-time students at a two or four-year college/university. It is awarded every Spring for the following Fall semester.

    WORTHY GOAL SCHOLARSHIP:

    The Worthy Goal Scholarship is designed to assist deserving individuals receiving hospitality/foodservice management or vocational training beyond high school level.  It is IFSEA's goal to help further the education and careers of future industry professionals.

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    Applicant must be enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in hospitality management or a food service-related degree program at an "accredited two or four-year college/university for the upcoming Fall Term.  Full-time is defined by Federal Financial Aid Guidelines. Applicants do not need to be a member of IFSEA.  However, IFSEA members may serve as a source for recommendations.

    Scholarship Amount: $2500
