About the Microsoft Disability Scholarship

  • The Seattle Foundation and the Disability at Microsoft Inclusion Network have established a scholarship program to assist current high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs and pursuing various eligible areas of study.

    Eligibility

    Applicants to the Microsoft Disability Scholarship Program must:

    • Be a current high school senior
    • Plan to enroll in full-time or half-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college/university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year
    • Pursue a degree in the following eligible majors: Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Law, Business, or related field – Paralegal, Pre-Law, Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing
    • Demonstrate a passion for technology
    • Demonstrate leadership at school and/or in the community
    • Require financial assistance to attend college
    • Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale or equivalent
    • International students are eligible to apply if enrolling in a US college or university.
    • Employees and children of employees of Microsoft are ineligible.

    Scholarship Amount: $20,000 (11 awards)
