On Friday, March 27, 2020, during a special board meeting, the board adopted a resolution and order regarding the postponement of trustee election from May 2, 2020, to the uniform election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

The election will take place in San Marcos CISD. Specific polling locations and times will are dependent upon the adoption of the election order. Hays County uses vote centers, meaning Hays County voters may cast a ballot for any election in which they are eligible at any vote center in the county during the times the vote centers are operating.
