The District Attendance Office supports all SMCISD campuses to improve student attendance and decrease the number of student dropouts, verify residence within the district attendance zone, and represent the District in Truancy Court Actions. actions.
Our team supports campus efforts by conducting home visits and assisting to identify the "root cause" of absenteeism, and identifying school or community support for students and families to get students back to school.
