The Department of Custodial Services is responsible for providing a clean and health environment for students and staff at over 15 locations. It is our mission to assist in the educational process by creating learning environments that are not only safe, but clean and healthy. The department is responsible for all aspects of Custodial Services, Facility Rentals, Emergency Management and Integrated Pest Management. We provide training and management, as well as inspections to ensure that we provide services for our staff, students and community in an efficient and equitable manner.
The Department of Custodial Services currently maintains and provides services to 11 District Campuses and 4 Support facilities, totaling 1,328,932 square feet and 352 acres.
Notice to Parents or Guardians
As part of our commitment to provide your child with a safe, pest-free learning environment San Marcos CISD may periodically apply pesticides to help manage insects, weeds or pathogens. Pesticide applications are part of our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, which relies largely on non-chemical forms of pest control. Pesticide applications on San Marcos CISD property are made only by trained and licensed technicians.
