Welcome to the Office of Academics for San Marcos CISD. Our energetic staff is committed to developing a guaranteed and viable curriculum while ensuring the delivery of quality instruction within the Learning Community of Texas.
We are committed to serving teachers, parents, and the community. Our department works with the San Marcos CISD Curriculum Council to design and update curricula for grades Pre-K through 12. Also, we address district-wide projects and initiatives including but not limited to: standardized testing, consolidated grants, professional development, school transformation, accreditation, accountability, and public relations.

Mission:
The mission of the Office of Academics is to promote student learning in the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District by providing curricular support to enhance campus and district initiatives.
Vision:
To promote student learning in SMCISD through curriculum leadership that facilitates the transformation of curriculum and instructional delivery systems.
