Sandra Sepulveda Lopez, a dedicated advocate for education and proud Trustee for District 3 since her election in May 2023, has made an indelible mark on our local school district for over two decades. With a deep commitment to fostering stronger bonds between our schools, Rattler families, and the broader community, Sandra champions the values of communication and partnership as cornerstones of educational excellence.

Born and raised in San Marcos, Sandra's roots run deep within the district she now serves. A product of SMCISD, she is also an alumna of Texas State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice. As the mother of four children, all of whom themselves are SMHS alumni, Sandra's personal and professional journey is intricately woven into the fabric of our community.

Sandra's unwavering belief is that education is the key that unlocks boundless opportunities for the future of our children. In her eyes, every child deserves access to a quality education, and she recognizes the fundamental role public schools play in providing this vital opportunity to all.  Sandra is dedicated and committed to shaping a brighter future for our students and our community alike.
