San Marcos CISD secondary students are only granted entry to extracurricular after-school functions (athletic events, fine arts performances, etc) on SMCISD property if they are wearing their student ID badge around their neck; non-compliant students will be denied entry. Students who remove their ID badge will be allowed to correct the aforementioned. Further noncompliance will result in removal from the event.
Students who are not accompanied by a guardian/parent and do not have their student ID badge or refuse to wear it around their neck will not be allowed entry to extracurricular events.
Students who are accompanied by a guardian/parent and do not have their student ID badge or refuse to wear it around their neck will be required to stay within proximity of their guardian/parent throughout the duration of the event.
Students who wish to sit in the designated “student section” at athletic events are required to wear their ID badge around their neck for the entirety of the game.
If a student misplaces or forgets their ID, they can visit their designated campus location for a replacement. The cost of a replacement ID is $5.00 to cover the expenses of associated supplies (card, lanyard, sleeve, and printing).
