The mission of Special Olympics is to provide sports training and athletic competition opportunities to persons 8 years of age and older with a developmental disability. There are currently 140 countries worldwide participating in Special Olympics with nearly 1 million athletes world wide. San Marcos CISD students can participate in a variety of sports.

Requirements
- SOTX Medical Release form completed by doctor every 3 years
- Attend weekly practices

Requisitos:
- Formulario Médico de las Olimpiadas Especiales completado por un doctor cada 3 años
- Asistir a las prácticas semanales
