2025-2026 Academic Calendar

  • Texas State University informed SMCISD that their Spring Break will take place on March 16-20. On June 16, SMCISD Board of Trustees will vote to amend the current approved calendar to align our Spring Break with Texas State University. Below is the academic calendar that will be presented to the Board of Trustees on June 16.

  • 1st 9 weeks- Aug 13-Oct 9 (40 instructional days)
    • 3 week IPR Aug 29
    • 6 week IPR Sep 19
    2nd 9 weeks- Oct 14 - Dec 19 (43 instructional days.)
    • IPR Oct 31
    • IPR Nov 21
    3rd 9 weeks- Jan 7- March 13 (45 instructional days)
    • IPR Jan 23
    • IPR Feb 13
    4th 9 weeks- March 23 - May 21 (42 instructional days.)
    • IPR April 2
    • IPR April 23
