We want to inform you about an incident that occurred this morning at the Sienna Pointe Apartments involving Bus 1501.
An individual who is not affiliated with the district attempted to board the bus. Our trained SMCISD Transportation staff acted quickly and appropriately—preventing the individual from entering the bus, contacting local authorities and district administration, and safely continuing the route without disruption.
We are working closely with the San Marcos Police Department to issue a criminal trespass warning to the individual involved. Please know that we take the safety of our students and staff seriously and are committed to taking all necessary measures to ensure their protection.
