Dear Rodriguez Elementary Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share an important leadership update for our school community.

Mr. Kash Greathouse, who has served as the founding principal of Rodriguez Elementary, will be transitioning to a new role as principal of Goodnight Middle School within San Marcos CISD.

Since opening Rodriguez Elementary, Mr. Greathouse has provided strong, dedicated leadership and has been instrumental in building a positive school culture focused on student success. Under his guidance, Rodriguez has grown into a proud community and achieved a B campus rating, an accomplishment that reflects the hard work of students, staff, and families alike

We are grateful for Mr. Greathouse’s commitment to Rodriguez Elementary and the lasting impact he has made on this campus. While we will miss his daily presence, we are excited for him as he takes on this new opportunity to continue serving students in our district.

We will be posting the principal position and conducting a thorough search to hire a highly qualified replacement. Our goal is to ensure strong, continued leadership for Rodriguez Elementary and a smooth transition for students, staff, and families.

In the coming weeks, we will share more information about next steps. Our priority remains ensuring continued success for all students.
