The SMCISD Gifted & Talented Parent Information Session occurred on October 28, 2024 from 6:00-6:30 pm. This meeting was designed for interested parents of students who are not currently in the GT program. During this session, Mr. David Underwood, Director of Fine Arts & GT Services and the district GT Specialists presented via Zoom for parents and community members to learn more about the characteristics of gifted students, the GT services offered by SMCISD, and the nomination and evaluation process.

La sesión informativa para padres superdotados y talentosos de SMCISD se llevó a cabo el 28 de octubre de 2024 de 6:00 a 6:30 p. m. esta reunión fue diseñada para padres interesados de estudiantes que actualmente no están en el programa gt. Durante esta sesión, el sr. David Underwood, Director de Bellas Artes y Servicios GT y los especialistas en gt del distrito presentaron vía Zoom para que los padres y miembros de la comunidad aprendan más sobre las características de los estudiantes superdotados, los servicios gt ofrecidos por smcisd y la nominación y proceso de evaluación.
